Stop Sleeping With Married Women, Mliswa Tells Jah Prayzah

Outspoken Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has warned contemporary musician Mukudzei Mukombe, popularly known as Jah Prayzah, against sleeping around with married women.

Using his Twitter account @TembaMliswa, the legislator said the singer’s practice, which had become a habit, would destroy his illustrious career and bring unnecessary scorn upon his character.

“@jahprayzah you need to stop the habit of sleeping around with married women or women engaged to other men, on the promise that you will take care of them and their children. That’s a very bad habit. Unoita vana vatambure zvisina basa and unozvishoresa,” wrote Mliswa.

“It has become your practice and as someone whose music I enjoyed very much this habit of yours is very unfortunate and pathetic. You are bringing confusion into people’s lives. Kana une nharo nazvo taura ndikubvisire maV11 (Evidence).

“We are not pained by your success but this habit of yours is wrong. Handidi kutaura zvakawanda and will stop there unless you need the evidence.”

It has long been rumoured that Jah Prayzah is a serial womaniser but no one had thus far brought any evidence or claimed to have some in their possession. The lanky Uzumba-born and raised crooner was previously linked with disgraced former ZIFA chief executive Henrietta Rushwaya who was jailed for several weeks for gold smuggling recently.

Mliswa’s allegations come hardly a day after Jah Prayzah was reportedly detained by immigration officials at RGM International Airport over allegations of possessing a fake Covid-19 certificate while returning from a gig in Cape Town. Nhau/Indaba
