Janet Manyowa Album Launch Postponed

Janet Manyowa’s album launch for Father’s House atThe Venue last Saturday was cancelled after she fell ill.‌

The launch date is now July 22 at 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare.

Janet’s management, led by her husband, Munyaradzi Manyowa, apologised to fans who had already purchased their tickets and told them to keep them ahead of the new date.

“We are very sorry that we have cancelled the launch late after Janet fell ill.

“She was given four days off as she recovers so it was not possible for us to go ahead with the show.

“We are grateful to our loyal fans who were looking forward to this event,” said Manyowa.

Janet is a creative genius who has never stopped reinventing the wheel in her quest to win the hearts of new fans.

Her 10-track album was recorded live in Bulawayo last year and features spiritually uplifting songs from end to end.

Janet is a multiple award-winner who steadily built her empire from scratch and is one of the most sought after female artists in Zimbabwe.Related Stories:

Amongtracks on the album are Father’s House featuring dub-poet Albert Nyathi, Running, Shoko Renyu, Dry Bones, Forever, Jesu Makanaka, Shandurai, Be Blessed Be Your Name featuring Bonnie Deuschle, Bayethe and Tirivakundi.  H-Metro
