High Court Judge, Justice Munamato Mutevedzi has sentenced Tapiwa Makore’s killers to death following their conviction for the crime of murder after a full trial.
Tapiwa Makore Senior (60), connived to murder his seven-year-old nephew with his herd boy Tafadzwa Shamba (40) on the night of September 17, 2020 in Murewa after getting him intoxicated with an illicit brew.
After the heinous act they went on to dismember his body for suspected ritual purposes to upgrade Makore Snr’s cabbage business.
The whereabouts of his head remain a mystery to date and he was buried without it on March 27, 2021. Nhau/Indaba
