MP Wadyajena Remanded In Custody

A Harare magistrate has remanded Gokwe-Nembudziya legislator Justice Mayor Wadyajena in custody following his arrest Tuesday for alleged fraud and money laundering involving US$5 million.

His bail hearing continuation has been scheduled for Thursday after appearing in court today.

Wadyajena was arrested together with three Cotton Company of Zimbabwe officials namely Pius Manamike, Maxmore Njanji and Fortunate Molai.

Pierpont Moncroix Director Chiedza Danha was also arrested and faces the same allegations. Nhau/Indaba
