Former Premier Soccer League champions Dynamos Football Club have recorded a positive coronavirus case out of the 46 people tested this Monday.
This was revealed by the club’s Marketing and Communications manager Yvonne Mangunda in a statement.
Mangunda said Ministry of Health officials have since been informed of the development and the individual will observe a period of self-isolation in accordance with COVID-19 protocols. She said:
As part of preparations for the resumption of team training, Dynamos Football Club today conducted COVID-19 tests on first team players, technical team and Secretariat.
Out of the 46 people tested, 1 tested positive of COVID-19. Relevant authorities have been informed and the club will adhere to Government and public health guidelines set for the positive individual. ZimEye
