Company Managing Director, Dale Saudan said the Hwange branch is not the last branch they are going to open but are aiming to open more branches in Bulawayo and establishing an abattoir in Victoria Falls.
“In our plans for 2022 we are looking at opening our Ascot branch in Bulawayo in February this year and commencing work on our Victoria Falls Abattoir 20km out of Victoria Falls town” he said.
“Wholesale Beef Pvt Ltd is offering the town of Hwange a variety of quality meat products at affordable prices. We are a people’s and community orientated business that believes that the more you give, the more you will receive in return,” said Saudan.
The meat supplier started operations in 2003, working from a garage in one of Bulawayo’s residential suburbs. In 2004 the company moved into industrial premises in Belmont along Phoenix Street where they operated for five years.
“With a growing client base, bigger premises were required thus prompting a move to 10 Bessborough which is currently our head office and distribution centre. We then opened a distribution branch in Victoria Falls in 2015 due to the demand for Wholesale Beef products by a number of Hotels and Lodges,” said the Managing Director.
In 2017, the company opened a retail outlet in Victoria Falls followed by two more branches in Mkhosana and Chinotimba. In 2012 they took over Mvutchwa abattoir in Umguza outside Bulawayo, where they slaughter all the cattle, sheep and goats. Indaba
