JUST IN: MDC Alliance Retains Byo Mayoral Seat

The Nelson Chamisa led MDC Alliance has retained the Bulawayo Mayoral seat after their candidate Mlandu Ncube defeated Skhululekile Moyo who was sponsored by a rival faction led by Thokozani Khupe.
Mlandu polled 18 to Moyo’s two votes.
This becomes the third Mayoral election where the Alliance have proved too powerful after also bagging Harare and Gwanda.
