Tonight, sungura ace Alick Macheso is set to rock Shurugwi with his latest offering at Vital Lounge from 8pm till late. Admission: Cover charge.

Dendera crooner Sulu kicks off the weekend at Bar Rouge Restaurant tonight and wraps it up at Mushandirapamwe Hotel in Machipisa on Saturday from 8pm till late. Admission: $10.

Marondera Cup Clash
This Saturday all roads lead to Marondera’s Rudhaka Stadium where Zim dancehall artistes Killer T, Seh Calaz, Enzo Ishall, Chillspot Family, Bazooker, Pumacol, Ndunge Yut, Blot, and hip-hop musicians Voltz and Saint Floew perform from 3pm till Pungwe. This is one big gig not to miss.

Purple Festival
Jah Prayzah leads a star-studded line-up tomorrow at the Purple Festival where hip-hop’s finest Takura, Afro-fusion singer Feli Nandi, reggae-dancehall star Nutty O, Zim dancehall artists Killer T and Enzo Ishall are expected to bring the house down during the 12th anniversary celebrations of local pharmaceutical, Booties. A huge crowd is expected to throng Harare’s Belgravia Sports Club at a gig dubbed Purple Festival. Tickets for admission: $20 and VIP $50.

Kurai Makore In Mbare
Chimurenga music crooner Kurai Makore and the Black Lions will tomorrow blast Koeffman area in Mbare where they will perform at Little England.

City Sports Bar
DJ Joe Mentro will this Saturday set City Sports Bar ablaze backed by Fanta & The Five Stars. DJs Brendoh and Mango Loops will be on the decks.
