A 17-year-old high school student died after being stabbed by another pupil in an alleged bullying incident.
Victim Ngoni Tadiwa Kundishora, a Form 3 pupil at Seke 1 High School in Chitungwiza, allegedly confronted his killer while armed with stones on July 12.
Kundishora allegedly grabbed his killer who then drew a knife from his pocket and stabbed him on the left side of his stomach.
Kundishora was rushed to hospital where he was treated and discharged, the Harare Magistrates Court heard on Wednesday. His condition later deteriorated and he was returned to hospital but died on July 14.
The alleged killer, who is pleading self defence, appeared briefly before Harare magistrate Yeukai Dzuda who remanded him into the custody of his father. He will next appear in court on August 1 for trial. ZimLive
