ZINARA Reviews Vehicle Licensing Fees

Zimbabwe National Roads Administration (ZINARA) has reviewed vehicle licensing fees with effect from today 12 March 2024.

According to a statement seen by Nhau/Indaba, ZINARA said the adjustment follows the regulations outlined in Statutory Instrument 156 of 2022. The new fees announced in a statement on its social media account X formerly Twitter will be as follows:

Licensing for vehicles of up to 1500kgs will now be US$20 or ZW$348 000, ZW$522 000, ZW$696 000, ZW$870 000, ZW$1,044 000, for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 1500kgs and 2250kgs will be now US$25 or ZW$ 435 000; ZW$652 500; ZW$870 000; ZW$1,087 500; ZW$1,305 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 2251kgs and 3000kgs will be now US$30 or ZW$ 522 000; ZW$783 000; ZW$1,044 000; ZW$1,305 000; ZW$1,566 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 3001kgs and 3750kgs will be now US$60 or ZW$1,044 000; ZW$1,566 000; ZW$2,088 000; ZW$2,160 500; ZW$3,132 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 3751kgs and 4250kgs will be now US$75 or ZW$1,305 000; ZW$1,957 500; ZW$2,160 000; ZW$3,262 500; ZW$3,915 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 42510kgs and 5000kgs will be now US$90 or ZW$1,566 000; ZW$2,349 000; ZW$3,132 000; ZW$3,915 000; ZW$4,698 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 5001kgs and 5750kgs will be now US$100 or ZW$1,740 000; ZW$2,610 000; ZW$3,480 000; ZW$4,350 000; ZW$5,220 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 5751kgs and 6250kgs will be now US$105 or ZW$1,827 000; ZW$2,740 000; ZW$3,654 000; ZW$4,567 000; ZW$5,481 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 6251kgs and 7000kgs will be now US$120 or ZW$2,088 000; ZW$3,132 000; ZW$4,176 000; ZW$5,220 000; ZW$6,264 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 7001kgs and 7750kgs will be now US$130 or ZW$2,262 000; ZW$3,393 000; ZW$4,524 000; ZW$5,655 000; ZW$6,786 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 7751kgs and 9250kgs will be now US$140 or ZW$2,436 000; ZW$3,654 000; ZW$4,872 000; ZW$6,090 000; ZW$7,308 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 9251kgs and 10000kgs will be now US$150 or ZW$2,610 000; ZW$3,915 000; ZW$5,220 000; ZW$6,525 000; ZW$7,830 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 10001kgs and 10750kgs will be now US$200 or ZW$3,480 000; ZW$5,220 000; ZW$6,960 000; ZW$8,700 000; ZW$10 440 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively.

For vehicles between 10751kgs and above will be now US$300 or ZW$5,220 000; ZW$7,830 000; ZW$10,440 000; ZW$13,050 000; ZW$15,660 000 for 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 months respectively. Nhau/Indaba
