An all-night prayer vigil has been organised in Mt Darwin, Mashonaland Central in preparation for the Easter holidays next week as well as the upcoming historic Independence celebrations.
The event dubbed Exodus Night Season 2 will be running under the theme “My case is urgent, ” at Mupfuure Heights from 9pm tonight.
Popular young clergyman, Pastor Life Gama of Miracle Centre will be hosting the vigil and is inviting people from all walks of life to come and get delivered from society’s ills and problems affecting their daily lives.
Speaking to Nhau/Indaba, Pastor Gama said prayers for a peaceful atmosphere in Mt Darwin were necessary ahead of the crucial celebrations.
“We are inviting everyone, to come and have deliverance. We shall also be praying for a peaceful atmosphere in our community as we host the Independence Day celebrations soon.”
“With the Easter holiday approaching, many will be traveling to different destinations and we will put prayers at the forefront seeking protection against accidents, illnesses, or any other misfortunes from the Almighty,” he said.
A protégé of Prophet Tawanda Blessing Bondera, the founder of Grace Ministries International, Pastor Gama said many people out there were facing various challenges associated with the economy which is on its knees, hence the church needs to deliver them from going astray during these setbacks.
“The youths are going astray, the married doing the unthinkable. Ministers of the gospel have a great task at hand to restore sanity. The church has a mammoth task and everyone looks up to it. Families need to be exorcised, communities need development, and the youths, jobs. Everyone is looking forward to the church for security and prosperity,” he said. Nhau/Indaba
