Several entertaining events are lined up throughout the country this weekend as the month of March draws the curtain for April. As the last weekend of the month, it is always wise to find a chilled leisure spot to celebrate your achievements or go back to the drawing board for re-strategising where you failed.

Here is what to expect:

Baba Shero & Andy Muridzo In Bulawayo
Sungura lovers in Bulawayo are going to have an epic Friday night as Alick Macheso and the Orchestra Mberikwazvo perform back to back with multi-talented musician Andy Muridzo and Jeetaz Band at Park View Bar and Grill from 5pm till late. This sungura bash is not to be missed. Admission:$5

Chipaz Bhora
Tomorrow all roads lead to Dzivarasekwa Stadium as dancehall and sungura artists exchange the mic and their musical instruments with boots for an epic football match organised by one of Zimbabwe’s biggest music-promoting companies, Chipaz Promotions. Freeman, Seh Calaz, DJ Fantan, Bazooka, Enzo Ishall, Guspy Warrior, MercilessZim and many others will represent dancehall artists against a sungura selection comprising of Mark Ngwazi, Progress Chipfumo, Baba Harare, Peter Moyo, and many others. Gospel artist Mathias Mhere will also be part of the crunch tie from 10am till late. Don’t miss out their performance after the match. Admission: $3.

Sulu In Bindura
Top dendera musician Suluman Chimbetu and Orchestra Dendera Kings serenade fans tonight in Bindura at Hala Gardens behind Hala Hotel.
For a first, Esau and Tatenda Macheso, sons of sungura music king, Alick “Baba Shero” Macheso will be in Bindura tonight giving supporting acts. Sulu is expected to take fans back into memory lane by playing his late father’s (Simon Chimbetu) hits. The entrance fee is $5 from 8pm till late.

The Dendera Kings wrap up their weekend in Harare CBD at Cresta Oasis Hotel from 7pm till late.

Mbeu @Sherwood Golf Club
Afro-fusion singer, Mbeu will be rocking Sherwood Golf Club in Malbereign tonight. $5 parking fee. Don’t miss out.

Enzo Ishall & EXQ @Jongwe Corner
Zim dancehall chanter Enzo Ishall  is up for a majestic “Hunters Party” (Hunters ciders on Promotion)  back to back with urban grooves master EXQ  tomorrow at Jongwe Corner in Harare alongside Mc Qudo, DJ Tonny and many others. Admission: $5 and VIP: $10.

Killer T In Kwekwe
Popular Zim dancehall chanter Killer T will make a date with his Midlands fans as he takes his latest offer ‘Tiri Vemuma Streets’ album to Kwekwe. He will be supported by supported DJs Iroq, Luckie Dee,Crocx, and DjFydale Thedon tonight at Gulez Gardens from 7pm till late. Admission: $5 and VVIP: $20

Braai Out
Braai out with family and friends this Saturday at Kingfisher Park in Mount Pleasant. Entertainment by Cape Town-based Zimbabwean R&B/trap soul singer Hillzy, hip hop star Voltz Jt, Judgement Yard, Raydizz, MercilessZim and many other DJs on deck. Advance tickets: $ 8 for 2 people, $12 for 3 people. Singles who pay $10 get a free braai pack. VIP: $20 with a free braai pack and a 6-pack of ciders from 12pm till late.

Madlela Skhobokhobo Kwamu Kwamu Album Launch
Rhumba musician Madlela Skhobokhobo launches his fourth album tomorrow at Kelvin Tshisanyama (along Khami Road). Top sungura musician Mark Ngwazi together with Martin and Ndolwane Super Sounds, Godolude, Zhezhingtonz, Skhosana Buhlungu, Mcebisi and Amathonga Amahle are set to share the stage with Madlela.

Summer Explosion In Ireland
Music lovers in Ireland are in for a treat tonight as Zim dancehall musicians Tocky Vibes, Poptain, and Jah Master alongside urban grooves singer Nox.

Nyasha David, Juntal, Sabastian @Longcheng Park
It’s Easter month and the Advocate of love Nyasha David, King of rhumba Juntal and gospel singer Sabastian Magacha are set to keep fans asking for with their acts during a gig dubbed ‘Easter Egg Hunt and Braai’ at Longcheng Amusement Park tomorrow. There will be a variety of activities like horse riding, egg hunt, water slides, jumping castles, and many other games from 9am to 6pm. Entrance Fee: $5 and VIP: $10.

Mzoe7 @Bulawayo Theatre
Hip hop singer, Mzoe7 performs tomorrow in Bulawayo alongside guest artists Msiz’kay and Master Zhoe. Admission: $5 VIP: $10, VVIP: $50

Kurai Makore @Madhadha Pub & Grill
Chimurenga crooner Kurai ‘Mukanya’ Makore and the Black Lions grace fans at Zindoga shops in Waterfalls, Harare this Sunday from 2pm till late.

Mash Up DA City
Hip-hop lovers in the mining town of Zvishavane should expect fireworks as Voltz Jt invades Club Downtown-The Basement for a ‘Mash Up Da City’ gig supported by Navy Boi and Jah Mercy tonight. Ordinary tickets: $5 and VIP: $10

Prank Wars In Belvedere
As we celebrate April Fool’s day tomorrow, make a date with Hidden Agenda Zimbabwe as they present Prank Wars (April Fools Edition at 4 Lawley Avenue Belvedere, Harare. Braai, booze and music are to be served from 12pm till late. Admission: $10
