Controversial raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda popularly known as ‘Bev” will headline an all-night rhumba music dancing fiesta lined up for Harare’s City Sports Bar tonight.
The electric show is slated to start from 5pm till late.
Dubbed ‘Rhumba Galore Dance Fiesta’, the show will feature the country’s top rhumba dancers under the Dancers Association of Zimbabwe (DAZ).
Bev and The Sexy Angels will battle it out with the Reality Queens, Millenium Queens, Fanta and the Five Stars, Sasha and the Debutants, Jesse and the Unique Queens, Tanya and the Vibrant Queens, Dragon Queens, Earth Angels, Popo and Mbadahadzi, Kalawa dance group and many others.
DAZ president and City Sports bar manager Hapaguti “Harpers” Mapamhidze said they were excited to host the show which was last showcased in 2018.
“We are excited to host the dancing competition which will host dancers from across the country. We are optimistic fans will turn out in their numbers,” he said.
Harpers promised dance fans more fireworks as they have pole dancing and sungura editions lined up during the course of the year.
The event is expected to lure local rhumba fans in a bid to revive the genre’s popularity.
