Zimbabwe football fans who were curious about the outcome between rival Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) sides Highlanders FC and Dynamos FC will have to wait longer following a last-minute postponement by the Sports Recreation Commission (SRC), Nhau/Indaba has learnt.
The two PSL giants were set to battle it out this Saturday, but their tussle has been postponed for the two teams to first honour their Independence Day clash next Tuesday.
Premier Soccer League (PSL) Communications and Media Liaison Officer, Kudzai Bare announced the latest development in a statement Wednesday.
“Please be advised that the Castle lager Premier Soccer League match between Highlanders FC and Dynamos FC scheduled to be played on Saturday 15 April 2023, has been postponed.”
“This comes following a directive from the Sports and Recreation Commission for the teams to participate in the Independence Day activities which will commence on the 16th of April 2023.
“The postponed fixture will be rescheduled in due course,” Bare said.
