The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced the payment of a cost of living adjustment to government employees to cushion them pending the conclusion of salary negotiations.
In a statement, PSC Secretary Ambassador
said: “government will proceed to pay, in addition to regular emoluments paid out earlier this week, what is available, while negotiations in the National Joint Council continue.
“The government reiterates its commitment to pay a living wage to its employees, who will start accessing the top-up within the week ending October 2 2020.” -Nhau/Indaba
