Gospel singer Diva Mafunga has died reports from sources say.
The ‘Kubata KwaMwari Kunoshamisa’ hitmaker was reportedly involved in a fatal road accident just a week after a stellar performance in Chipinge.
Gospel legend Pastor Charles Charamba said his shocking death robbed the gospel arena of a good and dependable companion.
“It comes as a shock. Indeed, we have lost a good and dependable companion, someone who candidly demonstrated his love for God. May the Lord comfort the children and family at large. Rest in Power our own Compatriot Diva Mafunga,” he said on his official Twitter handle.
Mafunga becomes the third local musician to be involved in a road accident in the last 72 hours following fellow gospel artist Mathias Mhere’s freak accident over the weekend on his way to a show in Bulawayo.
