Tsenengamu Granted Bail

Former ZANU PF youth chairperson Godfrey Tsenengamu has been granted bail by High Court Judge Justice Davison Foroma on charges of inciting people to participate in the flopped July 31 anti-looting demonstrations.

His lawyer Advocate Harrison Nkomo has just confirmed the latest development.

Tsenengamu was ordered to deposit $10 000 bail, surrender his passport to the clerk of Harare Magistrates Court, reside at his given address and report twice a week at Waterfalls Police Station.

Harare magistrate Ngoni Nduna had denied him bail citing that there was need for the State to protect him while in custody following his claims that he no longer felt safe due to unknown individuals that were constantly following him. Nhau/Indaba
