Bulawayo Woman Collapses, Dies In The Street

A woman collapsed and died suddenly on a busy Bulawayo street on Monday.

The unidentified woman had just walked out of a shop close to the Tredgold Magistrates Court at about 2PM when she slumped to the ground, never to get up.

Two police officer who were shortly at the scene attempted to resuscitate her, but she was already dead, according to witnesses.

A large crowd watched as health officials from City of Bulawayo’s health services department followed Covid-19 protocols in recovering the body which had been covered under a red blanket.

The body and its surroundings were disinfected with a hand-held spray before it was recovered to Mpilo Central Hospital where tests were to be conducted. Zimlive
