Journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has been denied bail by Harare magistrate Marehwanazvo Gofa.
The Court ruled that Chin’ono was not a perfect candidate for bail as he had a propensity to continue committing offences.
This emanated from the fact that the court had reasonable suspicion that he committed the offence of defeating or obstructing the course of justice while on bail for a matter pending before the courts.
