Club Connect Shuts Down

Harare’s premier nightlife spot, Club Connect, has taken a break with immediate effect to “upgrade its facilities for better customer experience”.

The double decker bar, which took Harare’s nightlife by storm in late 2018 when it opened its doors to the public, seeks to re-invent itself after four years of unmatched quality and tested hospitality.

In a statement, the management company for the high-end club said they needed to keep up with trends to enhance customer experience and thus they were taking a “very short break” to ensure uninterrupted work by their contractors.

“Since opening Club Connect in Harare, the place never got refurbished. This is because it was ahead of its time and thus got more life, but it is now time for that overhaul,” read part of the brief statement.

The management company thanked its patrons for supporting the institution over the last four years and promised better clubbing and ambience when the place returns from the strategic break in a few weeks.

“There is no better time to upgrade a club than in January when showbusiness and nightlife is in comatose. Club Connect will return in better shape to give the best clubbing experience to our customers as we have been known to do over the years.

“We appreciate the support our patrons have given us over the years. This upgrade is for them so that they continue to enjoy the best in entertainment and recreation. There should be no difference between a club in Ibiza, Spain and one in Zimbabwe. The ambience and experience should be the same if not better and this is what we will always strive to deliver.” Nhau/Indaba
