ED Fires State Security Minister “Mudha”

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has fired his minister of State Security Owen ‘Mudha’ Ncube with immediate effect.

According to a statement released by Chief Secretary to the Office of the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda, Ncube was dismissed for inappropriate conduct.

“The President Cde ED Mnangagwa has in terms of section 340, subsection (1) paragraph (f), as read with section 104, subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe removed Owen Ncube from Office of Cabinet Minister with immediate effect for conduct inappropriate for a Minister of Government,” reads the statement.
