ITI President Chakabwata Attains Professorship

The adage that ‘diligence pays’ came true last weekend following the awarding of Professorship to Impact Training Institute (ITI) International Executive President, Dr Elias Chakabwata.

Dominion Mission Theological University, based in Ghana honoured Dr. Chakabwata with a Professorship award following his impact on the academic arena.

ITI is a christian-oriented academic entity offering a variety of professional courses in Zimbabwe for both online and face to face interactions.

Speaking at the ceremony the Dominion Mission Theological University, Executive President Professor Bishop Daniel Dela described Dr Chakabwata as a man of integrity and professional conduct.

“Dr Chakabwata has demonstrated beyond any shadow of doubt his consistence and resilience in training men and women for various sectors of the economy. He has trained corporate leaders, church leaders and para-church leaders. His leadership prowess has earned him the award which we are unreservedly bestowing upon him,” said the learned Professor who heads one of the fastest growing training institutions in Ghana.

Prof. Bishop Dela commended Prof. Chakabwata for his zest to professionally train individual and corporate personnel as well as his energy to continue upgrading himself academically in accordance to dynamic global trends.

“Times have changed and yesterday’s knowledge is being discarded, men like Dr Elias Chakabwata continue to upgrade themselves to match the times. This is commendable. We are aware that he holds a number of qualifications from local institutions as well as abroad.

“The decision to award him today was reached after extensive consultations with those who know him or have worked with him. Congratulations Dr Elias Chakabwata now Professor Elias Chakabwata,” said Professor Dela to the applause of a sizeable crowd which had gathered to witness the momentous event.

Prof. Chakabwata appreciated the awarding University and expressed his gratitude with a short song about the astounding work the University is doing not only in Ghana but globally.

“Thank you Professor Bishop Daniel Dela and your entire team of men and women who work tirelessly to train ministers of the gospel. Thank you to our partners who advertise our services especially the Nhau/Indaba team which has been supporting us.

“We are forever grateful to you. Your foot print is evident in our work as Impact Training Institute. We appreciate you and thank you for making us visible in Zimbabwe and abroad,” he said. Nhau/Indaba
