Jacob Ngarivhume Convicted For Inciting July 31 Protests

Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume has been convicted on charges of inciting public violence following his arrest in 2020 for calling on the masses to embark on the July 31 anti-government street demonstrations.

He was arrested together with outspoken journalist Hopewell Chin’ono.

Harare magistrate, Feresi Chakanyuka released him into the custody of his lawyer for sentencing tomorrow.
