Zanu PF activist and businessman, Wellington Peyama has blasted outspoken Norton (Independent) legislator Temba Mliswa for his alleged deceptive tendencies and feigned loyalty to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Peyama made the averments at a presser held in Harare over the weekend citing that Mliswa is reportedly working with Terrence Mukupe and the duo assume loyalty to Mnangagwa yet go around causing confusion within his Zanu PF party.
“Almost, daily Temba Mliswa attacks certain people. He has ambitions of becoming President. You see him feigning to like the President. He goes around claiming to be related to the President yet he is always attacking Mnangagwa’s Cabinet ministers.”
Peyama also said Mliswa also pretends to like Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa but goes around dismissing all his lieutenants.
“He always wants to see Mnangagwa and Chamisa in a tight spot knowing that in 2023 he might have a run for the Presidency. Mliswa should just go. If you check on social media pages, he has ambitions to destroy all the powerful political parties in Zimbabwe.”
“He is currently soiling everyone he knows is close to the President so that he achieves his ambitions of running for the Presidency in 2023,” he said.
Peyama also said that Mliswa was a threat to Mary Mliswa-Chikoka’s Mashonaland West provincial chair position, despite the fact that she is his blood sister.
“Currently he is riding on his sister’s victory in Mashonaland west, yet his intention is to pull her down. He is a chancer with the penchant for destroying. I am not afraid of Mliswa and he knows that. He is nothing but an extortionist. That is his way of survival.”
“Mary campaigned for herself and now Temba wants to come on board creating enemies for his sister.”
Peyama further warned businessmen who associate with Mliswa to be wary of his villainous character.
“He has always been victimising businessmen in this country such as his recent spat with Billy Rautenburg but when the police start doing their investigations, he becomes divisive again. Now he is after police Commissioner General Godfrey Matanga.”
On Mukupe, Peyama said the former Harare East legislator was reportedly sponsoring controversial Sybeth Musengezi, who is seeking the removal of Mnangagwa from the post of Zanu PF secretary.
“The evidence is right on his social media platform pages. Mliswa and Mukupe are working together with former Zanu PF political commissar, Saviour Kasukuwere who is currently in South Africa and the duo benefited a lot of land in Chishawasha from him which they are selling. They are using proceeds from the sale to sponsor chaos in Zanu PF structures,” he said.
“You wonder whose side they are loyal to. They cause unnecessary chaos everywhere and the party should be wary of their shenanigans,” he said. Nhau/Indaba
