It is Friday the 13th again, a somewhat spooky way to start the weekend for the superstitious. Merrymakers are in for an entertaining episode this weekend despite most artists taking a break after busy schedules during the the just-ended festive season.

Here is what is in store for you:

Suluman @Bar Rouge

Dendera music crooner Suluman Chimbetu and the Dendera Kings will ignite Bar Rouge with a gig dubbed the ‘Ignition Party’ tonight. Writing on his official Facebook page, Sulu said they started the year with a get together party for the band and fans. “As per tradition each year, it was pomp and funfair as everyone got the opportunity to meet, greet and interact all in the name of love,” he wrote. Admission: $10

Progress Chipfumo @PaTawaz Butchery

Progress Chipfumo and his band Sounds of the Motherland serenade their fans tonight at PaTawaz Butchery,  Guest Restaurant opposite Doves Harare Street in Harare from 5pm late. Admission is free.

Andy Muridzo In England

Talented Afro-fusion singer Andy Muridzo starts the year in style as he performs at Kulture, 160 Hockley Hill, Birmingham in the United Kingdom tomorrow. He will be backed by Sdala B and Paige. DJs on deck include Timeless, Selecta Bruckout, Standish, Mike Killah, IAM Chapter and MC Kaycie and many more.

Chillspot @Woods

Tonight, the Chillspot Family host a “Friday the 13th” concert at Wood Pub and Grill. Entertainment by DJs Fantan and Levels. Dancehall singer Uncle Epatan will also spice up the act. Free Entrance before 10pm.

Mash Up Fridays

Mashwede Village will be on fire again this weekend, don’t miss out tonight’s act at this popular joint. DJs Lukie Dee, IROQ, MC MAGGS and Ella Boi will keep you entertained.

Battle Of The DJs @CSB
Merrymakers are in for a treat this Saturday as City Sports Bar hosts the ‘First Battle of the Deejays’ at 83 Kaguvi Street, Harare. DJs Joe Mentro, Mango Loops, Stone and Zawa will be on the decks.

Make a date with Mashwede Village this Saturday and experience pleasure at first hand. DJ Lukie Dee, Iroq and King Urrah will be taking turns to thrill fun lovers from 2pm till late.

Super Sunday
