Lovers are in for a treat this weekend as artists host a number of gigs across the country as couples warm up to Valentine’s Day set for Tuesday.

Here are the shows lined up:

Baba Shero, Enzo Ishall, Charambas In Mutare
Music fans in Mutare will be afforded a time of their lives this Saturday as sungura artists, Alick Macheso and Peter Moyo, dancehall chanter Enzo Ishall and gospel greats Baba and Mai Charamba headline a mini gala set to honour the elderly and less privileged people at Sakubva stadium. They will be supported by local-based artists from 9am till late.

Peter Moyo @ K2 Connect
Before descending on Mutare tomorrow, Peter Moyo and his Utakataka Express will host a pre-Valentines gig in Kuwadzana from 8pm till late.

Jah Prayzah & Mbeu @ Jongwe Corner
Family, lovers and friends should not miss this Sunday gig as award-winning contemporary artist Jah Prayzah performs back-to-back with Mbeu at Jongwe Corner in Hatfield. The gig will be a pre-activation for Valentine’s Day. Admission: $10 and Kids: $5.

Tonight, Afro-fusion singer “Mbeu” real name, Ashton Tapiwa Nyahora and the Mhodzi Tribe band perform at the Afropolitan Plaza in Madokero from 8pm till late.

Sulu In Marondera
Dendera crooner Suluman takes his Ochestra Dendera Kings band to Marondera at Hope Fay Hotel, a gig promising to be worthwhile.

On Saturday, he will be back in the capital with a performance at Mushandirapamwe Hotel, Machipisa.

Valentines Special With Killer T, Andy Muridzo, Kinnah
Music lovers are expected to throng Club Porcupine at Madangure Hotel as multi-talented musician Andy Muridzo and the Jeetaz Band, Zim dancehall chanter Killer T and his Hot Property Band blend with Kinnah to serenade fans tonight from 5pm till late. Admission: $5.

On Saturday, the trio tread the boards at Pakare Paye in Norton from 5pm till late. Admission: $5.

Andy Muridzo will first perform at the ‘Choppies Big Birthday Bonanza’ ceremony this Saturday before heading to the Norton concert at 10pm.

Mannex @ Position Bar & Grill
Reggae lovers throng Avondale tonight where Mannex Motsi and his Reggaestra Band promise fireworks at a gig dubbed the ‘reggae Party. Elder Potato will be the guest star.

Nyasha David, Kae Chaps, Voltz Jt @ Woods
Tonight, RnB singer, Nyasha David, Afrobeats singer Kae Chaps and Voltz Jt launch their single “Kachest kelove” at Wood Pub and Grill. Free Entry.

Couples Valentines Special Dinner
Couples, don’t miss out! A Couples Valentines special dinner will be hosted at Monomotapa Hotel this Saturday and Sunday with Afro-fusion singer Feli Nandi and Star Fm presenter Tilder Moyo headlining the event. Package: $150 per couple for one day and $280 per couple for 2days.

Voltz Jt In Poland
Zim students studying in Poland are in for a good treat this Saturday as hip hop singer Voltz Jt performs in Lublin.
