It’s entertainment galore this weekend as your favourite artists stage epic performances locally and across the globe. The mood at most joints will be kept high as they do what they know best.

Here is a rundown of what is lined up:

Nutty O Birthday Celebration @Club Olympus
Harare’s premiere nightspot, Club Connect will host talented dancehall chanter Nutty O’s 31st birthday celebrations tonight in it’s state-of-the-art Olympus Lounge. Fellow musicians Enzo Ishall, EXQ, Voltz Jt, Kae Chaps, Tammy Moyo, Crooger, DJ Tamuka and Kiky Badass will add to the glamour as they light up Club Olympus (formerly Club Connect) located at Netone Building in Harare CBD from 8pm till late. DJs Naida, Eve, Shaku, Chante, and MC Illy will be taking turns at the turntables. Admission: $10 VIP: $20.

Thomas Mapfumo, Mark Ngwazi In Leicester
Chimurenga music guru Thomas “Mukanya” Mapfumo will tonight mix and mingle with his multitude of fans as he blasts Corah Suite 20 St John Street in Leicester, United Kingdom with a gig dubbed “Greatest Hits Show Up” from 8pm. He will be supported by sungura artist Mark Ngwazi and Zim dancehall queen Lindsay (Chamangura Ngura). At the turntables, DJ Kelvin “Soul Supreme” Sifelani, will be rocking out old-school vibes alongside DJ Sab who will be serenading fans with a touch of Zim and Astro hits. DJ Tongishto will be a guest disc jockey. Admission £35.

UK Worship Night
Tomorrow gospel lovers will be in for a treat as Zimbabwe’s praise and worship singer Takesure Zamar Ncube, South Africa’s Dr. Winnie Mashaba, Dorcas Moyo, Patsor Tinashe, Sharon Manatsa, Prophetess M Matimbire, Nyasha Mutonhori, Yeukai Washe and Lloyd Tevedzai light up Dunstable Conference Centre in the United Kingdom with performances for Worship Night. Admission is from £10-£50.

Flames Of Worship Gospel Concert
Gospel enthusiasts on the local scene will be in for a spin tomorrow at Harare Gardens where Pastors Trymore Bande, Baba and Amai Charamba rock the venue alongside Minister Michael Mahendere and many more for a “Flames of Worship Gospel Concert organised by the Albinism Network Zimbabwe. Admission $3 kids, adults $5.

One Big Party With Andy Muridzo & Killer T @Padziva
This Saturday, all roads lead to Dzivarasekwa as Zim dancehall great Killer T and the Hot Property Band back-to-back with talented musician Andy Muridzo and Jeetaz Band headline the “One Big Party” gig at Padziva next to Chesa. Muridzo aka Baba Keketso celebrated his 31st birthday at Club Zone in Highfield yesterday. Admission: $3 before 6pm.

Macheso @Lions Den, Guruve Hotel
Sungura lovers in Chinhoyi are in for an epic treat as the King of Sungura, Alick ‘Baba Shero’ Macheso and the Orchestra Mberikwazvo
tread the boards tonight at Mukanya Bar, Lions Den, Murereka from 8pm till late. Admission: $5.

Tomorrow, the talented lead and bass guitarist showcases his enviable knack for playing the guitar at Guruve Hotel from 8pm till late. Admission: $5

Leonard Zhakata Birthday Bash
Zora music legend Leonard Karikoga Zhakata best known for his hits Hupenyu Mutoro, Mugove, Batai Mazwi, Gomba Remarara and Mugove will descend on Kadoma’s Speedway for a gig lined up to celebrate his 55th birthday.

Nicholas “Madzibaba” Zakaria In Hatcliff, Banket
Sungura music ‘Senior Lecturer’, Nicholas Zakaria and the Khiama Boys will start their weekend schedule by serenading fans with a spectacular performance at Takarangana in Hatcliff tonight. Tomorrow the sungura great will descend on Banket for a gig lined at Pelogross Inn.

Sulu @Bar Rouge
Bar Rouge hosts Dendera music crooner Suluman “Sulu” Chimbetu and Orchestra Dendera Kings tonight from 8pm till late at Longcheng Plaza. Admission:$10

Allan Chimbetu
Dendera crooner Allan Chimbetu will keep his fans off their seats tomorrow at Bigmun Mukanya located at Zindoga shops in Waterfalls, Harare.

Freeman In SA
Zimdancehall chanter Freeman who celebrated his 35th birthday yesterday is set to throng Mzansi for more celebrations in style this Saturday with a billed performance at Maitland Hall 268 Fernadale in Capetown supported by South African artists, Smokers family, Kuda Thula, Thiago, and many others. Admission: R200 and VIP: R400.

Fiesta Fiesta
It is that moment of the month where you just have put on your warm outfit n winter boots to enjoy upbeat music with cool companions. Tomorrow it will be a crazy night as South African DJ Kabelo Motsamai aka Prince Kaybe will blast Longcheng Plaza Park in Harare supported by local DJs Chucknosis, Storm, Fujee, DJ Zulu and many others from 12pm to 11:30pm. Ordinary Tickets: $10 and VIP: $30.

Progress Chipfumo
Back by public demand, free-spirited musician Progress Chifumo will be performing live at Position Bar and Grill, Avondale free of charge tonight from 8pm.

It’s Freaky Friday, tie your shoes laces and enjoy the side of Friday with RnB artist, Afrobeats singer Kae Chaps and hip hop star Voltz Jt at Hub24 in Dzivarasekwa (DZ2 shops) Admission: $3 and VIP:$5.

Baba Harare & Paradzai Mesi @Steak House
Shake off the chilly weather with Jiti musician Baba Harare and City Vibrations alongside come-back sungura singer Paradzai Mesi and the Njerama Boys this Sunday from 2pm till late in Harare (3/29 St George Street, ArdBennie)

Poptain, Holy Ten, Ba Shupi, Michael Magz In Marondera
Music lovers in Marondera are in for a good spin this Saturday as dancehall chanter, Poptain, hip hop singer Holy Ten, Urban Grooves star Ba Shupi and Michael Magz perform at Chipiwa Gardens in Marondera from 7pm till late. General Tickets:$5 and VIP:$10

Jazz Festival
Jazz lovers camp at the Spitzkop Leisure Centre (After Whitehouse along Bulawayo Road) this Saturday as Talking Guitars Band and musician, Gushungo perform live from 4pm till late.

Jambo Festival Tour
