Here’s a preview of what to expect:
Macheso In Harare, Mutoko
Sungura lovers in Harare are going to have an epic Friday as Alick Macheso and The Orchestra Mberikwazvo perform tonight at Sanganai Inn Bar.
After his stellar performance, Macheso heads to Mutoko where he will serenade fans at Nyamuyaruka, Kotwa.
Winky D, Tocky Vibes,Saint Floew In Chitungwiza
Time to chill out and unwind! Catch up with the GOAT in his first performance this year as Winky D, award winning musician Tocky Vibes and rising Hip hop singer Saint Floew get on the act tomorrow at Damview, Blue Roof Grill and Bar.
The Red Cup
Party lovers! This Saturday all roads lead to Alex Sports Club as Bushy Party presents the ‘Red Cup’ that will see South African disc jockey and songwriter Duduzile Ngwenya aka Lady Du give her best performance. Supporting acts include hip-hop singer Voltz Jt, Mc Tatts, Madherbelieve, C Skillz, DJ Simba and many others. Admission: $10.
Andy Muridzo @Foodnest Restaurant
Controversial musician Andy Muridzo and the Jeetaz Band host a Welcome Back from South Africa show tonight at Longcheng Plaza, Belvedere from 7pm till late. Admission: Cover Charge.
Tomorrow Andy lights up Konke Restaurant and Bar (along Robert Mugabe opposite PanJap Motors) alongside DJ Slow on deck. Admission: $5.
This Sunday, the Jeetaz band showcase their talent at Club Zone in Highfield from 2pm till late.
Mbeu @Cresta Oasis Hotel
Make a date with local Afro-fusion singer Ashton “Mbeu” Nyahora and the Mhodzi Tribe band as they perform tonight at Cresta Oasis Hotel (134 Union Ave, Harare) from 7pm till late.
Enzo Ishall In Poland, Germany
Zim dancehall chanter Stephen Kudzanai Mamhare aka
Enzo Ishall is raising the Zimbabwean flag high this weekend as he performs in Poland at Capitol club tonight.
Tomorrow Enzo Ishall will be offering his multitude of fans his first live performance in Germany at Klub Kulb, Burgplatz, Dusseldorf. Zimbabwean fans in these two states can’t afford to miss his performance!
Poptain In SA
Dancehall star Poptain is touring in South Africa this weekend. Tonight he performs at Funk BA, Forest Road and Sunset Avenue,Sandton alongside Afro-pop musician Prosper Fih Real. Admission:R100.
Tomorrow, the ‘Fadza Mutengi Wedoro’ hitmaker will be performing in Polokwane.
On Sunday, Poptain will be joined by Prosper Fi Real and singer Loud H for the ‘Bashment Level Unlock’ igig at Innocent Pub in Kempton Park.
Killer T In SA
Tonight it’s going down in South Africa as Zim dancehall chanter Killer T offers his best at Star Dust, 114 3rd Street, Springs.
Tomorrow Killer T hosts an all-white birthday party for DJ Inno B in Pretoria at Pavilion.
Talking Guitars In Ruwa
Don’t miss out the Talking Guitars performance tonight at Red Eagle Bar and Restaurant, from 6pm till late. On Sunday, the duo perform at Blue Keg Bar in Mbare.
Chiwoniso Maraire Birthday Tribute
Mbira lovers are in for a treat as Ela the Gardens hosts Chiwoniso Maraire’s ‘Birthday Tribute’ in Newlands this Sunday.
The talented Zimbabwean mbira singer died in 2013 after she suffered from a lung infection.
