Merrymakers will end the month of April in style as the local entertainment scene is loaded with various entertainment activities countrywide.

Here is what is in store for you:

Victoria Falls Carnival
All roads lead to the resort city of Victoria Falls as Nigerian superstar CKay, South African house music duo Black Motion, award-winning South African producer and songwriter Musa Keys, Oskido, Mi Casa and South Africa’s multi-award-winning Afro-pop sensation Mafikizolo serenade fans at the three-day fiesta slated for Elephant Hills Resort.

Contemporary music maestro Jah Prayzah, Afro-soul sensation Tamy Moyo, dendera superstar Suluman Chimbetu and Zim dancehall chanter Enzo Ishall headline the carnival on the local scene. Other artists include LKG, Toss, Mdoovar, 9umba, Anita Jaxson, Mac G & Sol, Top Cheri, Rimo, Han-C, Khoisan, Tashinga, Nitefreak, Just Drev, DJ Liz, Nospa, Nkosiminator, Renolife, Andrea the Vocalist, Doll Ya Mama, and Mtkayntwana (MC).

Alick Macheso In SA
Sungura kingpin Alick Macheso and the mighty Orchestra Mberikwazvo bring fireworks to the neighbouring county tonight at Kempton Park, Civic Centre. They will be supported by South Africa based Afro-fusion singer Keen Marshall, DJ Shango, radio personality Phatisani Sibanda and many others. Tickets: R200 and R300.

Tomorrow, Macheso and Phatisani light up the stage at Newton Music Factory in Johannesburg. If you are that person who goes to concerts by top bands once in a blue moon, here is another chance to level up.

“Freaky Friday Party Session” @ Club 263
As the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair fever grips the City of Kings, Club 263 will play host to a gig dubbed “Freaky Friday party session” tonight.

On Saturday, regulars and visitors at the club will experience the ZITF DJ shutdown with guest DJs Gaddafi, Africa and Tonic spinning it on the decks.

Hashtag Hosts “ZITF Invasion” Party
ZiFM personalities and DJs, Tatenda G, Chamvary, and Boiz Dze Noiz descend on Club Hashtag tonight for a memorable “ZITF Invasion” party, courtesy of Rocky.

DJ Brooklyn and DJ Barbar Eazy Vert supported by Chuck the Lunatic, Lee Zie Taylor and Motty will entice fans with their vibes tomorrow, while Maratsa Sunday shuts down the weekend schedule with a bang.

Zim LinkUp With Freeman, EXQ, Nutty O, Killer T, Takura In UK
Music lovers in the UK are in for a treat as Zim dancehall stars Freeman, Killer T, Nutty O, and Urban grooves singer EXQ alongside Hip hop star Takura rock a jam session dubbed “ZimLinkUp” in Birmingham (52-54 Dale End) this Sunday.

Winky D Shuts Down Bulawayo
Fans yet to attend a Winky D show this year have another chance to quench their thirst as the Zim dancehall superstar is set to rock Bulawayo’s Queens Sports Club tomorrow, a first-time appearance after the horrible Chitungwiza stage invasion incident. Winky will share the stage with South African rapper Lady Du and DJ Stokie. Local supporting acts include Jah Signal, Boss Pumacool, Bazooker, Sandra Ndebele, DJs Fantan and Levels, and Noreen Moria.

Lady Du In Gwanda
After the ZITF showdown, Lady Du will travel to Gwanda on Sunday for a gig at the Phoenix Shisanyama.

Jazz Fiesta In Bulawayo
This Sunday, jazz lovers are in for a treat at City Club where seasoned jazz outfits including Mr. Prince, Manzi A Moyo, George Phahlane, Penny Whistlers, and Check Point entertain guests celebrating International Jazz Day in style at the City Club. The fiesta will be running under the theme “A gig that shuts down April through mature melodies.”

Andy Muridzo In Avondale
Contemporary musician, Andy Muridzo and the Jeetaz Band jump-start the weekend in Avondale at Londoners Sports Bar, Strathaven Shops from 6pm till late. Admission: Cover Charge.

Tomorrow Andy will cream the music in Ruwa at Mtangaz Hideout alongside Apama Style dance group and DJ Stavo from 3pm till late. Admission: Cover Charge.

The talented musician wraps up the weekend at Steak House in Waterfalls, Harare (from CBD, Turn Left at Simon Mazorodze, and Willowvale Traffic lights after Trade Centre).

Peter Moyo @ Big Apple
Join sungura musician Peter Moyo and Utakataka Express tonight in Harare CBD for a performance alongside raunchy dancer Zoey and Red Angels dance group from 7pm till late. Admission: Cover Charge

Paradzai Mesi In Chitungwiza
Sungura musician Paradzai Mesi, who has recently made headlines for the wrong reasons is set to return to the stage with a show at Club Joy Centre, Makoni tonight from 7pm till late. Free Entry.

Mbeu In Avondale
Talented Afro-fusion singer Ashton “Mbeu” Nyahora performs at a Community Fundraising Dinner Dance tonight from 6pm to 10pm at Golden Conifer, 30 Quendon Road. Tickets for individuals: $100, couples: $150

Selmor Mtukudzi In CBD
Hang up with Afro-fusion songstress, Selmor Mtukudzi tonight as she performs at the Zimbabwe College of Music (C3 Civic Centre Rotten Row) from 8pm till late. Free Entry.

Also link up with Selmor for an acoustic night this Sunday at Moonlight Red Lips Sports Bar, Kamunhu Shops in Mabvuku.

Booze Festival
Make history with friends and family for the first-ever Booze Festival taking place at Longcheng Adult Park this Sunday. Performances by DJ Danny, Mc Gully, Etherton B, Andile Brown, and many others.

Dancehall Jukebox In Goromonzi
Zim dancehall musician Hwindi President and the Live Jukebox Band warm up the community of Mashonaland East Tomorrow at Brace Nite Club from 8pm till late. Admission: $5

Juntal @ Padziva
Rhumba maestro Juntal showcases his skills this Sunday in Dzivarasekwa Extension next to Chesa from 12pm till late.

Kurai Makore In Waterfalls
Chimurenga star Kurai Makore and the Black Lions are set to deliver their best this and every other Sunday at Madhadha Pub and Grill. Admission is free.

Flash Back Friday
Flashback to those good old memories in the north of Harare with DJ Chucknosis, Tich Mataz, and Dee Nice at Hometown Coffee House and BBQ, 21 Edinburgh Road.
