School Holidays Extended By 14 Days

Government has delayed the opening of schools and learning institutions by 14 days following a spike in Covid-19 infections throughout the country.

Schools were initially set to resume lessons on the 28th of this month.

Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting services, Monica Mutsvangwa announced the decision during a post Cabinet briefing with the media Tuesday evening.

She said the decision will be reviewed on a fortnightly basis as government continues to assess the process of bringing the sudden surge of infections under control. Nhau/Indaba
