Zim dancehall chanter, Shinsoman, has resurfaced on music charts countrywide with a potential scorcher of an album titled “Romantic Gangster”.

The 10-track album was released Wednesday morning and features prominent Afro-fusion artists Mbeu and Andy Muridzo.

Fellow dancehall chanter Poptain, urban grooves pioneer Pauline Gundidza aka Mai Sky, hip-hop singer Saintfloew and music sensation Sandy Vee also feature on the album.

Speaking to Nhau/Indaba, Shinsoman’s public relations manager, Isiah Masoka aka King Fyah Manak said the album is loaded.

“Shinsoman is a big brand and has always been delivering good music for the fans. This album is flavoured with collaborations with the likes of Mbeu, Mai Sky (Pauline), Saintfloew and others. This gives the album a sweet flavour for fans in all age groups,” he said.

The ‘Mawaya Waya’ hitmaker hailed his fans for their loyal support, saying the album was better than his previous records as he certainly took his time writing the songs and recording.

“The album is awesome and it’s different from the ones I released before in terms of sound and the flavour,” said Shinsoman.

“I always do the best every time I do something for Shinsoman fans. I also want to thank Shinsoman Empire, Producer T-man (Mount Zion) and all the fans who made the Shinsoman brand.”

Tracks on the album include ‘Kuenda Newe’ featuring Sandy Vee which carries a message for all upcoming artists to be responsible enough when they go out to perform on different occasions.

“Yes, they have been deeply educated about drugs but on the other hand I feel they also need to be educated on casual relationships which can expose them to deadly sexual diseases,” he said.

Track number eight on the album is a collabo with Mai Sky titled ‘Uchandiwana Ndaenda’ and advocates for respect between couples in a marriage.

Hip-hop singer Saintfloew features on ‘Handei’ while Mbeu features on track number nine titled ‘Disappointed’, a song whose video is expected to be “five-star”, according to Shinso.

Shinsoman is one of the celebrated Zim dancehall artists. He last released an album in 2016 titled ‘Maziva Ndadzoka’. Nhau/Indaba
