Wadyajena & Accomplices Freed

Harare magistrate Stenford Mambanje has granted Gokwe-Nembudziya legislator Justice Mayor Wadyajena ZWL$200 000 bail after spending last night at Harare Central Prison.

His accomplices; Pius Manamike, Maxmore Njanji and Fortunate Molai of Cotton Company of Zimbabwe (Cottco) together with Pierpont Moncroix director Chiedza Danha were also made to pay the same amount each for their freedom.

Mambanje ordered the quintet to surrender their travel documents to the clerk of court and report to the police once every Friday.

They were arrested Tuesday for alleged fraud and money laundering involving US$5 million. Nhau/Indaba
