Zim, Russia to partner in science, technology development

ZIMBABWE has received a consignment of PPEs, medicines and equipment from the Russian Federation to assist in the fight to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The two countries have strong relations that date back to the days of the liberation struggle with Russian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, His Excellency Nikolai Krasilnikov saying there is need for closer collaboration in the field of science.

The goods were handed over to government representatives, Health and Child Care Deputy Minister Dr John Mangwiro and Foreign Affairs and International Trade Deputy Minister, David Musabayana.
