Cimas Health Group, Zimbabwe’s largest private medical aid society and leading health and wellness service provider, has announced the acquisition of a state-of-the-art mobile clinic designed to bring essential healthcare services directly to underserved communities.
This innovative development was unveiled at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) exhibition, held in Harare under the theme “Cultivating Prosperity: Growing Business. Innovating for Change. Nurturing our Future.”
The mobile clinic represents a significant advancement in Cimas’s commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery. The vehicle, equipped with a range of medical facilities and staffed by a team of health experts, aims to address the challenges of accessibility in remote and under-resourced areas.
Mr. Vulindlela Ndlovu, Chief Executive Officer of Cimas Health Group, emphasized that the acquisition of the mobile clinic aligns with the organization’s mission to provide high-quality health services across diverse locations.
“In today’s fast-paced world, access to quality healthcare is crucial. With this mobile clinic, we are taking a proactive approach to improve healthcare accessibility,” Mr. Ndlovu stated.
The mobile clinic will offer a broad spectrum of services tailored to meet the specific needs of various communities. These services include preventive care, vaccinations, health education, and primary healthcare.
By extending healthcare services into areas with limited infrastructure, Cimas aims to bridge gaps in the healthcare system and ensure that vulnerable populations receive necessary medical attention. “This mobile clinic is a transformative tool in healthcare delivery,” Mr. Ndlovu noted. “It allows us to bring healthcare directly to communities, overcoming geographical and infrastructural barriers.”
The initiative is also a strategic move to support health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on reducing child and maternal mortality rates. By enhancing healthcare delivery in less privileged regions, Cimas Health Group is contributing to broader global health objectives and improving overall community well-being. Nhau/Indaba
