Fireworks As Winky D Headlines Braai Fest

After serenading fans at the Kadoma Music Festival last weekend, dancehall king Winky D promises fireworks as he headlines Zimbabwe’s biggest Braai Festival, the Castle Lager Braai Festival this Saturday.

Slated for Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare and organised by Delta Beverages under its Castle Lager brand, the event will fuse together braai, music and booze for the enjoyment of family and friends on such a memorable day.

After missing last year’s edition, the ‘Gaffa’ will blast it out alongside talented songstress Tammy Moyo, dancehall stars Enzo Ishall and Dhadza D who promise fans stellar performances as “It all comes together with a Castle”.

To spice up the music flavour, the Chillspot Family will clash with DJs Cesh, Rush, MC Etherton B, Naida and Andile Brown at the turn tables.

“Attendees can expect to enjoy mouth-watering braai, a variety of engaging activities, games as well as some of the best local entertainment.

“Our valued customers will always be able to enjoy the best of our beverages at very affordable prices.”

“The Braai event aims to bring together the local community and the visitors to celebrate the vibrant braai culture of our motherland along with the finest beer of Africa,” Delta Corporation, marketing director Irimayi Muzorewa said.

Gates for the premier outing will open from 10am till you drop.

As part of precautions, organisers have urged parents not to bring minors while those under 18 will not be allowed to enter the venue. No cooler boxes will be allowed to enter the venue either. Nhau/Indaba
