Ginimbi Autopsy Results Revealed

The autopsy report for Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure revealed that the businessman died from internal bleeding, Nhau has learnt.

The report has put to paid conspiracy theories flying around about how the flamboyant businessman could have met his death.

He died between 5am and 6am on Sunday as he travelled from his nightclub in Harare’s central business district to his home, over 40 kilometres away.

Family spokesperson, Darling Kadungure, told Nhau that Ginimbi underwent a post-mortem on Tuesday and the results were highlighted as ‘haemorrhagic shock in polytrauma’, while his body will spend Friday night in his mansion before being buried on Saturday.

According to experts, haemorrhagic shock occurs when the body begins to shut down due to large amounts of blood loss.

People suffering injuries that involve heavy bleeding may go into haemorrhagic shock if the bleeding is not stopped immediately.

Common causes of haemorrhagic shock include severe burns, deep cuts, gunshot wounds and trauma amputations.

When heavy bleeding occurs enough blood flow to body organs is suppressed leading to a deprivation of oxygen and other essential substances.

Tissues are lost more quickly than they can be replaced and organs in the body begin to shut down.
As ones heart shuts down and fails to circulate an adequate amount of blood through your body, symptoms of shock occur.

Blood pressure plummets and there is a massive drop in body temperature, which can be life-threatening.

Polytrauma is defined as a situation entailing severe blunt trauma with injuries to multiple organ systems, usually resulting from critical penetrating or lacerating injuries.
Ginimbi’s burial will take place on the grounds of the mansion as he instructed himself before his death.

He is also said to have instructed that his family should not rush to bury him as “many people will come from all over the world”. Nhau/Indaba
