Harare Remains A Covid-19 Hotspot


Mashonaland West recorded the highest number of Covid-19 deaths in the country in the last 24 hours, statistics from the Ministry of Health and Child Care show.

A total of 12 deaths were recorded from the province followed by Harare with 11 while Bulawayo and Manicaland recorded five each.

Harare, however, recorded the highest number of infections in the country. Out of a total of 342 cases, 83 were recorded in Harare followed by Manicaland province and Bulawayo with 69 and 67 respectively.

As at 28 January 2021, Zimbabwe had 32 646 confirmed cases, including 24 419 recoveries and 1 160 deaths. Nhau/Indaba
