Kadewere Wants Lyon To Grind Results

Zimbabwe international Tino Kadewere believes Lyon must grind results whenever they play badly.

The French giants edged Dijon 1-0 yesterday to remain on course for the league title. Lucas Paqueta scored the solitary goal to take Lyon to 49 points, two behind log leaders Lille.

PSG are third with 48 points.

“It was difficult tonight. The most important thing was to win. We played together. We weren’t clinical. A match like this can happen,” Kadewere told OL website.

Lyon have been on a roll this season with all their frontline scoring for fun.

Kadewere’s match rating, according to L’Équipe, made him the best performing French Ligue 1 player last week.

“We need to work more, and to stay focused for the match against Strasbourg. There are a lot of matches at the moment,” said Kadewere. Nhau/Indaba
