Mob Kills Man(45) After Foiled Robbery

Police are investigating a murder case in which a 45-year-old man was killed at Beitbridge District Hospital, Nhau has learnt.

The man whose name is yet to be revealed was allegedly assaulted by a mob in a foiled robbery case.

Through its Twitter handle @ Police Zimbabwe, the ZRP said the man was assaulted by a mob on Monday.

“Police in Beitbridge are investigating a murder case in which a 45-year-old man died while admitted at Beitbridge District Hospital after he was assaulted by a mob in a foiled robbery case on October 18, 2021 in Dulibadzimu”.

Meanwhile, police are seeking for anyone with information surrounding a report where a Lupane man aged 43 died while admitted at Mpilo Hospital after being struck by a stone on the forehead by an unknown suspect.

The man died five days after the attack.

“The victim was struck with a stone on the forehead by an unknown suspect while on his way home on October 13, 2021 at around 3am. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police Station”.

Police in Lupane are also appealing for information which may help them in investigating a murder case which occurred in the town.
