Epic Friday @ Padziva
If you are in Harare and love your booze, Padziva Camp & Caravan is the perfect place for you to kick start your weekend. Their famous Happy Hour, which starts at 6pm has seen the place being packed as guzzlers converge there to quench their thirst. On the turntables will be the inimitable DJ Simbatunes whose music selection and mixing technique keeps revellers on their feet all night. Padziva is located along Kirkman Road in Dzivarasekwa Extension.

NAMA Awards
Tomorrow all roads lead to the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) where the long awaited National Arts Merit Awards (Nama) are set to be held from 5pm till late. If you are a “lover of things” and enjoy red carpet treatment and glamorous events, then this is your type of show. Don’t dare miss it. There is plenty of entertainment from the likes of Freeman, Poptain, Tocky Vibes, Gemma Griffiths, Holy Ten, Voltz Jt, Saintfloew, Ammara Brown, Feli Nandi and Hope Masike. Also on the line-up is Mathias Mhere, Andrea the Vocalist, ExQ, DJ Tamuka, Obert Dube and Mai Titi.

Macheso In Norton & Glenview
Sungura maestro Alick Macheso and Orchestra Mberikwazvo jump-start their weekend in Norton as they serenade fans tonight at Pakare Paye Arts Centre alongside sensational rhumba songbird Lady Storm from 8pm till late.

Tomorrow Baba Shero, back-to-back with dancehall singer Kinnah, rock Werras Park, at Glenview 1 New Shops. Admission:$5.

Suluman @ Cresta Oasis, Las Vegas
Tonight Dendera Music crooner Suluman Chimbetu and Dendera Kings perform at Café Afrique, Cresta Oasis in Harare’s CBD. Tomorrow they stage another gig at Club Las Vegas.

Douglas Chimbetu In Kuwadzana 4
Suluman’s cousin Douglas Chimbetu will be live tonight at Little London from 8pm. Admission: $5.

Long Live Soul Jah Love
Jongwe Corner commemorates the late Zim dancehall icon, Soul Muzavazi Musaka aka Souljah Love, who succumbed to diabetes in February 2021 at the age of 31. Fellow dancehall musician Jah Child and former Soul Jah Love backing vocalist Super Yut, will pay tribute to the ‘Ndini Uya Uya’ singer by performing tonight in Hatfield. Admission is free.

Jungle Party
Party lovers have a date with their favourite musicians this Saturday as Leisure Centre hosts a ‘Jungle Party’ in Chitungwiza. Performances by Nutty O, Bazooka, Ndunge Yut, Voltz Jt and Bling4 are set to leave guests satisfied. Admission: $5, VIP $15.

Zim Dancehall Night
Zim dancehall fans in Kuwadzana 6 camp at Eland Pagango tomorrow as Killer T and Hwinza perform. Admission:$5.

Mbeu @ Bar Rouge
Afro-fusion singer Ashton “Mbeu” Nyahora and the Mhodzi Tribe band perform tonight at Bar Rouge, Longcheng Plaza. Entry Fee:$10

Progress Chipfumo @ East Point
Talented musician Progress Chipfumo and the Sounds of the Motherland serenade fans tonight in the CBD at EastPoint Bar, Cnr Robson Manyika/Sam Nujoma from 8pm till late. Admission: Cover Charge.

Summer In Springs With Andy
Multi-talented Andy Muridzo and the Jeetaz band have a tour in South Africa this weekend. Tonight they perform at Jabula Pub and Grill, 61 Street Springs.

Tomorrow, Andy and urban grooves singer Nox entertain fans at Club Elpaso in Rustenburb, supported by Boss Eddie and many DJs.

On Sunday, Andy and Nox will be joined by gospel musician Minister Mazhindu, Precious makoni and The Angels of Mercy, Tina Dhakwa and Nyikavanhu Sounds, Amos Tekwani, Bwoi Valz for a gig dubbed ‘Mamelodi Family Show’ to be held in Pretoria.
DJs Mbare Hustlers, Single Jay, Castro 98, Wenera, Inno B, Sturman and MC Rico will also entrhral fans.

After the gig, Andy, Nox and his young brother Tyfah Guni, host the ‘After Party’ with DJs Arno Fab, Calaz, Lutan, Abbyyzza and Elder Maxmum supported by Boss Sim Styles will be rotating on deck at Club Africa, Cnr Wuburn and Swan.

Romeo Gasa Birthday Bash
Sungura lovers in Whitehouse are in for a treat tomorrow as Romeo Gasa hosts a birthday bash at Makuluwani Gardens supported by marabi musician Kireni Zulu, rhumba musician Juntal, talented singer Dereck Mpofu, Wasu Dacoda and many others from 8pm till late. Entry Fee: $2.

Peter Moyo & Juntal @ Jongwe Corner
Chinhoyi’s Jongwe Corner will be on fire this Sunday as sungura singer Peter Moyo and Juntal tread the boards from 2pm till late. Admission: $5.

Seh Calaz & Jah Signal
Tomorrow, Kwekwe will be ablaze with Zim dancehall chanter Seh Calaz taking his latest offering “Reggae Dzinorira” to his fans in the Midlands alongside Jah Signal at Solomons Lifestyle Cafe. Tickets:$5 and VIP $10.

Holy Ten dates Annita Jackson tomorrow as they perform at ClubZone in Highfiled, Machipisa from 6pm till late.

Roast Of Comic Pastor
Comedy lovers can catch up with their favourite comedians as Joina City presents ‘The Roast of Comic Pastor’ tomorrow with Doc Vikela, Tinaye, Gonyeti, Aunt Flo, jiti master Baba Harare, raunchy dancer Beverly Sibanda, Star FM’s DJ Ola and socialite Ginimbi Lite from 7 to 9pm at Sterkinekor. Tickets: $20.

Talking Guitars In Mbare
Music lovers in Mbare camp at Blue Keg bar this Sunday as Talking Guitars give their best from 7pm till late.
