Music fans in Zimbabwe are in for a treat this weekend as our local artists brave the chilly July nights with a string of performances countrywide, giving their followers nothing but the best of their talent.

Here is what to expect:

Father & Sons Affair In Beitbridge
Sungura ace Alick Macheso will storm Beitbridge tonight at Pagomba back to back with his sons Esau and Tatenda in what is promising to be a mouth-watering encounter in the border town.

Tomorrow Baba Sharo descends on Masvingo for a Winter Warmer Concert and Bonfire Night at Caravan Park.

Mark Ngwazi In Mutorashanga
Sungura star Mark Ngwazi and the Njanja Express thrill fans at Muriel Mine Big Bar with a welcome back show from the United Kingdom this Saturday from 8pm till late. Admission: $5

Chibuku Dance Festival Provincial Finals
Traditional dance lovers are in for quite a show this weekend as beverage maker and distributor, Delta Beverages hosts the final Harare province contest at Gungwa Bar in Chitungwiza. The final national competitions will be held at Harare Gardens on July 29.

Tiri VemumaStreets Album Tour
Popular Zim dancehall chanter Killer T’s legion of fans in South Africa are in for a super treat this weekend as he embarks on a tour promoting his album in the Rainbow Nation. Tonight he will be out all night at Jacaranda Cosmo City in Joburg.

Tomorrow, Killer T and the Hot Property Band back to back with Hip hop star Holy Ten serenade fans at Magandi Park in Chegutu, a gig likely to pull multitudes as hip hop and dancehall fans clash. Ordinary Tickets: $5 and VIP: $20

Afro-fusion artist Ashton “Mbeu” Nyahora and the Mhodzi Tribe band perform tonight at Bar Rouge, Longcheng Plaza from 6pm till late. They are promising a night of warmth with their soothing music. Admission: $10

Party with hip hop stars Takura and Voltz Jt as they give their best tomorrow at Solomon’s Lifestyle Cafe in Kwekwe from 5pm till late.

Mannex Motsi @Jam Tree
Reggae lovers camp in Mount Pleasant this Saturday as Mannex Motsi warms Jam Tree with his conscious vibes from 1pm till late.

Progress Chipfumo @Afropolitan Plaza
Sungura singer Progress Chipfumo and Sounds of the Motherland will tonight illuminate the Afropolitan Plaza at Madokero Business Hub from 8pm till late. Free and secure parking.

All Female Artists Musical Gala

All the ladies are in for a spoiled Saturday as some of the country’s top-notch female musicians agglomerate to perform live at the late Oliver Mtukudzi’s Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton. Performances by Lady Storm, Sarah Dee, Chipo Muchengwa, Lioness, and many others are set to make the gig one to remember from 2pm till late. Advanced Tickets: $5 Kids: $2.
