Regis Munhenzva death, Avenues Clinic clarifies position

The Avenues Clinic does not admit or treat Covid-19 patients, an official with the top health institution has revealed.

Cordellia Bondia, The Avenues Clinic corporate affairs officer clarified this position following reports that prominent transport operator Regis “Reggy Rejalo” Munenzva had died at Avenues Clinic in Harare.

A family member, Munhenzva’s cousin Itai Matavata Senior has since confirmed that Munhenzva died at his home yesterday morning.
“He died at home of Covid-19,” said Matavata.

“He was showing some symptoms and did not report for work for the past two days. I advised him to seek medication when he showed signs of Covid-19 infection a day after I was tested and came out positive.”
