Seh Calaz cries for peace in Mbare

Zimdancehall artist Tawanda ‘Seh Calaz’  Mumanyi has cried out for peace to prevail in Mbare.

The chanter says he is troubled by the ongoing running battles being induced by fights over flea market stalls.

Posting on his Facebook page, Calaz lamented injuries being inflicted on innocent people such as children, women and the elderly in the area following the use of teargas as police try to disperse rowdy youths at the Mupedzanhamo area.

“…. 3 people are confirmed dead, vakatyoka makumbo nemaoko hatichaverengi,  mateargas akukandwa mudzimba mune vana ana mbuya nana sekuru,  nemadzimai…. Vanhu vakujamba nepamahwindo kutiza”, he pointed out.

He said it was heartbreaking to see people suffer for matters they have no concern in and called for the leaders of the political parties who are believed to be causing this noise to sit and make peace for everyone’s  sake.

The clashes which have been ongoing since last Friday are believed to be between the ZANU PF and CCC activists. ZWNews
