Thousands Embrace Prophetess Shammy’s Miracle Water

Prophetess Shamiso Chirere, better known as Prophetess Shammy of Women on Fire Fellowship, is a woman on a mission.

Through her “Miracle Water” and dedication to helping the afflicted – the Woman of God is slowly taking over the neglected healing and deliverance responsibility from her male counterparts, who now seem more inclined to gospel-prenuership.

Speaking to Nhau recently, the Prophetess challenged women to have the courage to venture into ministry as most prophets have left a vacuum as they seek to enrich themselves at the expense of deliverance.

“Women should take up the space left by males as most of them have become businessmen and political actors. They have negated their mandate to heal and deliver the people in these hard and trying times,” said the Prophetess.

She said women should not shy away from ministering as God’s calling knows no gender.

“A calling is a calling whether you are a woman or a man,” she said.

Prophetess Shammy’s stock continues to rise, particularly since her series of miracle works where she reportedly healed mental illnesses, the barren and those that were terminally ill went public. A Zimbabwean man based in Dubai has become one of her prominent followers after he received healing over the phone after he had suffered from prostate cancer for six years.

“Through the Grace of God I have managed to help people with injuries that hospitals have failed to treat. I use only water. It is all about faith,” she said.

Her WhatsApp prayer groups are awash with people giving testimonies. Of particular note is a couple which had repeatedly failed to conceive for several years but did so after using the anointed water from the prophetess.

The testimony read: “We are overjoyed to announce that we are expecting thanks to your anointing water prophetess, you have taken away kunyadziswa kwangu neveukama nekuti ndainge ndisina kuberekera murume wangu mwana tave ne eight years mu marriage. Thank you munhu wa Mwari for your prayers nemvura yenyu ndave kuzonziwo Amai.”

After healing

While it is common practice for various men of the cloth to charge various amounts for one-on-one engagements where different ailments and life’s problems are then dealt with – Prophetess Shammy insists on a “people first” approach.

“I do not charge people for healing or deliverance. Most of the money I get is from those who are grateful after assisting them and the seed I receive is mostly for ministerial work,” said the Prophetess.

She conducts services via her WhatsApp prayer groups and is preparing to start Zoom mass services by mid-August.

“I have been ministering, healing and delivering people using my WhatsApp groups during the lockdown period, however, it has become difficult to manage the tens of groups we control at the same time.

“So now we will be conducting Zoom services from mid-August so as to deliver people at a faster rate. At the same time we will be giving people anointed water at various points in the country for the services on Zoom. Those who are abroad will be helped to make their own. It’s all about faith,” she said.

Prophetess Shammy hails from Uzumba in Murehwa. She grew up in a family of eight and they all attended the Mugodhi Apostolic Sect until she moved to Chitungwiza.

Her spiritual journey began under the tutelage of Bishop Nelson Dzvimbo of Ablaze Ministries in Chitungwiza. She weaned herself to start up her own Ministry in 2002 after a three month vigil in the hills near Warren Park.

She is also a mother two boys and a girl. Nhau/Indaba
