He was dressed to the nines.
Of course, he had to, it was his birthday. He turned 27.

But more importantly, the music star was launching Long Live Chama, a 10-track singles collection in which he featured Jah Prayzah, Edith WeUtonga, Poptain and Madam Boss.

Harare and the music industry responded, thronging Hellenic Sports Club, showing that indeed Tocky Vibes remains a fan favourite.
The Mhai hit-singer was supported by fellow musicians, who performed at the bash hosted by Boss Spencer Madziya.

After scintillating performances by an impressive line-up of DJs, it was time for the musicians to invade the stage and give the people what they had come for.
First on stage was budding Nicky Vibes, who left the stage for Poptain. The ladies favourite had people singing to his Fadza Mutengi Wedoro monster hits Kokai.

Exciting dancehall star Enzo Ishall also showed music fans that he is still a force to reckon with, belting out his sing along tunes among them Bhiza Rinoda Mutasvi, Siya Something and Urikutsvireiko.

Tocky Vibes then came on stage before being joined by Ricky Fire and Andy Muridzo. He took fans down memory lane with a number of his yesteryear hits such as Mhai before sharing a new single with Poptain, Mari Yese.
The new singles collection carries potential hits such as Mai VaJoana featuring Jah Prayzah putting paid to rumours of antagonism between the two talented artists.

“Form is temporary but class is permanent and this has been shown. I’m happy with how people responded on such a short notice. I had to give music lovers a Christmas present in form of the singles,” he said.
South Africa music promoter Boss Batsi of 2639 forked out US$300 for the music CD. Nhau/Indaba
